Volunteer
During the 61st New York Film Festival I assisted the Senior Volunteer Coordinator as a "Volunteer Rover" by providing support and filling in for various departments when help was needed. In this dynamic position, I served on the Special Events, Partnerships & Advertising, and Production teams performing tasks that included setting up for the festival, checking in and directing VIP guests, aiding sponsorship representatives, and most importantly, representing the face of NYFF.

Playing with Dolls

I produced and edited feature length film Playing with Dolls, an independent documentary about the transgender community of color in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York City from the 1970s to present. The film combines archival videos and recently shot interview footage of New Yorkers who lived through the era to share and uncover their unique stories.
Tapping into Our Past, Tapping into Our future: Ayodele Casel

As a member of the production team for Tapping into Our Past, Tapping Into Our Future: Ayodele Casel, I 
supported every aspect of the filmmaking process, including pre-production, production, and post-production, and coordinated with directors remotely to edit the final pieceThe short film has been featured in several film festivals, receiving awards for Best Short Documentary at the Lunenburg Doc Fest and Audience Award at the Tallgrass Film Festival.
DOCUMENTARY WORK
During my undergraduate study of Film & Media at Tufts University, I produced and edited several short documentary pieces, including "College Friends," a semester-long project that explores the importance of close female friendships during different stages of the college experience.
